For such a low price, you simply can't go wrong. Its well-made, with a nice wooden paddle. This was exactly what I wanted for an extremely reasonable price.

We wanted to make sushi for the Superbowl a few months ago. We live in a small town and were having trouble finding a sushi mat in the stores in our area. We found this on Amazon and had it delivered within a day or two. The quality of the product is great and the deal is hard to beat in stores. Highly recommended.

While this sushi mat was as promised, I had assumed it would be the same size as sushi mats I've used in the past. This one was a bit smaller, making it exactly the size of the seaweed sheets I was rolling. I hoped it would be slightly bigger, making the process easier. For the price, you can't really go wrong, but if I order a second one, I'll be choosing another one that is bigger and thus more helpful in the kitchen. I would recommend you do the same.

This is a pretty standard mat.

I was hoping the bamboo slats would be flat on one side so the sushi would roll better, but they weren't.

Pros: it was cheap, and the spoon works.

Though you probably could use wax paper to roll sushi in, this makes it so much easier and cleaner. It helps to hold it all together and you can really press the sushi, molding it into the roll. The spoon is pretty useless, as you can use any spoon to spread the sushi rice, but for the price, this was a good buy, in my opinion. You can also rinse the rice/sauce off of this mat with no problem.

It's not like you need this to make sushi, a sheet of plastic wrap will do just fine, but for a couple of bucks why not? I used it while making some California rolls the other night and it did the job just fine.

This sushi mat is proper because it's flat on one side. It's made of smooth and straight bamboo strips. The included wooden paddle is of decent quality as well.

I bought this along with a book and rice cooker to give my boyfriend for a present. We've made sushi a few times now, and this roller is really all you need to create perfectly good rolls, even if you've never rolled sushi before. The price is nice, and it does exactly what it is meant to do. No need to buy some expensive kit.

I got a late start on Christmas and ordered a sushi bowl, mat and paddle only one week before the big day. I was surprised and delighted to find it all arrived by Tuesday of the following week using standard shipping. The products are a big hit with my wife who loves to entertain and does a great job making sushi for family and friends. If you're a sushi adventurist, I highly recommend this product.

Not much to say really since, well, it is a sushi mat! It does its job very well and has held up quite nicely despite using it a ton of times. Good buy!
