Helen Hein, a Pacific Northwest author, poet, and artist, holds a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
She worked many years as a mental health counselor, assisting families, teens, and children. Church work followed, as a pastoral staff minister for faith formation. Her first book, A COUNTRY PLACE, a contemporary love story and inspirational novel, is available in both traditional and e-book formats.
Currently, she writes on ideas, creativity, and life planning in a fast-moving world, with IDEAS FOR WOMEN ONLY, The Art of a Personal Portfolio. Her uplifting short stories offer a quick and welcome break to hectic life, and don't miss her tips on starting a successful quilt club.
Married since 1980, with a grown son and daughter, she grew up on a large beef ranch, the ninth of eleven children.
