From Library Journal
The grandiose title of this new book does not as accurately reflect its contents as does the subtitle. The designs include more than 80 full-size quilting patterns. The format, however?17" x 11" with spiral binding?makes the book a potential library shelving and preservation nightmare. Recommended only for all-inclusive quilting collections.

About the Author
Helen Squire has been a quilt teacher, designer of quilting patterns, guest lecturer, auctioneer, and Q&A columnist for 30 years, and is well known for her six books in the Dear Helen series of quilting patterns. Helen began her publishing career as the Dear Helen, Can You Tell Me...? columnist for Lady's Circle Patchwork Quilts magazine in 1978 and published the first of her "Dear Helen" books in 1987. Helen's "historical" one hour lectures on quilting are often called "hysterical". Her informative facts about quiltmaking are presented in a humorous, lighthearted manner meant to entertain, as well as educate. Helen resides in Paducah, Kentucky, and is a member of the American Quilter's Society executive staff
