This one is fast. It almost wants to be another type of helicopter and not a coaxial. However, once trimmed, it resorts to very good stability. Take your hand off the control and with minimal throttle adjustments, it hovers nicely. Due to the speed and trying to get it to turn (I really had it too fast), I have had 4 serious crashes and nothing broke on the heli. The range of the transmitter is also pretty good. The transmitter has manual trims (not digital buttons) which I actually like. It takes 8 batteries and putting those in is a bit of a pain as you first have to insert them into a battery holder and then insert that into the transmitter. If you have a small living room, this one may be too fast for you.

Note: As advertised here at Amazon.com from a third party the price is advertised over $200. That is just plain stupid. This can be bought elsewhere for $130 or less (and I did).

Hello my name is Carlos, I must say quite frankly that is the most fantastic and fabulous coaxial I've bought so far, I have 5 coaxial heli other brands and none compare to the CX NOVUS, your flight is perfect, smooth and very safe , purchase is sure to have hours of fun.

I own several RC helicopters and this is the latest on in my collection. I have the NOVUS FP as well and this one is MUCH easier to fly due to the dual blades (coaxial). Once you adjust the trim tabs and get used to the control you can fly this helicopter with decent accuracy. I flew it tonight for the first time and was able to take off and land from my coffee table within a matter of a few minutes. The big benefit of model like this one is the lip batters where are removable and rechargeable, which is not the case with a lot of the cheap models you can buy at kiosks in the mall (the mall copters are pretty much throw away). Even though this model has been discontinued there are still a lot of parts available on the web.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is to the fact that a lot of the RC helicopters that I have seen at the kiosks actually have more metal structure which makes them a bit more indestructible when crashed.

The Novus CX is the perfect heli for indoor flying, particularly if space is small. With very minor trim adjustment, CX flies great straight out of the box! This is my second Novus CX, as I have had one for over a year, flown for many hours!

This is not as easy to fly as advertised. The parts are extremely cheap and the construction is sub-par. It was nothing but frustration for me. Others seem to have had better luck than me.
