This review is from: Helicopter Design and Data Manual (2nd ed)/ 861A (Paperback)
This is a good book for the layperson who wants to learn how helicopters function and why. It is easily read and understood and would be good from around age twelve and up. It covers aerodynamics basics and advanced, as well as actual design and construction. A wise choice for someone who is thinking about home built aircraft or radio controlled models, specifically, helicopters.
