About the Author

"Hell Comes To Hollywood" Editor Eric Miller has worked in independent film for over twenty years as a Screenwriter, Head of Production,  Director of Development, Producer, Production Manager, and other exciting, fun filled, low stress jobs.

His screenplay credits include Night Skies ,The Shadow Men, Mask Maker and Swamp Shark, as well as the Sy Fy Channel epic movie Ice Spiders which was said by the Hollywood Reporter to be "...first rate Entertainment" and by Dread Central horror web site to "spin a web of mirth and mayhem", as well as prompting a monologue and parody skit on The Late Show With Craig Ferguson. He also has a few scripts lurking "in development", and has done uncredited rewrites on other produced films.

He has a lifelong passion for books and reading, and has been dreaming of starting a small press for many years. Technology has finally made the dream possible, and though it could turn into a nightmare, at least he will have material for a new story.

Miller is a member of the Horror Writers Association.

These stories were very good, they were well written and interesting.

As the book progress, each tale is better than the last with the best being the second to last one, “They Go in Threes”.
John Kohlbrenner
This is a great anthology of horror stories that I could not put down!

Really solid anthology of horror stories centered around the Hollywood film industry. All 21 stories are great but there a few standouts that some smart producer should pick up to make into films. Especially loved "Message In A Bottle", "The Cutting Room", "Town Car" & "Not Elves". Highly recommended for horror fans.

Now that the Halloween season is approaching, it's time to grab a good book, go find your favorite shady spot and enjoy some spooky fun. Hell Comes To Hollywood is a perfect choice. It has something for everyone, varying in degrees of gore and ghoulish mayhem.

It is a compilation of short stories all dealing with themes in the horror movie/Hollywood flavor; and the writers do their best to make you squirm just a bit in your seat, when the theater is dark and all you can do is pull up your legs hoping there's nothing underneath you.

To give you a taste of what's in store, there are stories which include a writer that has to pay the ultimate sacrifice, an actress that has to choose between fame or her son's life, the real demons of Hollywood, and the gruesome discovery of the true reason celebrities die in threes.

I would give this a solid 4 out of 5 as it does keep you turning pages, becoming involved with the various characters on their journeys. Although I do hope that this is just a beginning of collections as I would love to enjoy a new round every Halloween.

This book is a great read all year round, of course, but when those shadows get longer and the wind has that bite to it, Hell Comes To Hollywood puts that extra special chill up your spine that you've been craving. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy.
After all, who doesn't love a good scare now and then?

I am not a typical horror fan. I don't do scary, but I thought I could read these short stories without letting them into my head. WRONG - I'm only 3 stories in and I had my first nightmare in years last night! I can't put this book down!

Short story anthologies always have some hits and misses. This is almost entirely hits. TOWN CAR by Joseph Dougherty and THEY GO IN THREES by Shane Bitterling were particularly good, but it's a good collection overall.

This is a great anthology of horror stories that I could not put down! Stories are centered around the film industry and are an easy read for those of you who don't have time to sit and read an entire book very often.

Each author has his/her own brand of horror, so there is a story to appeal to every fan's taste. Reminds me of the Twilight Zone series and would make a great tv series of its own!!

Completely demented. I work in the film industry in Hollywood and I believe each and every one of these stories could be true!

I got this book to review because I love anthologies. They aren't long and great while waiting at the doctor's or on a car ride. These stories were very good, they were well written and interesting. And they kept my interest with stories that made me go "wait a minute! I wasn't expecting that!" I thoroughly enjoyed every single story!

I read it from cover to cover in a few sittings. Excellent flow from story to story with an amazing variety and caliber of writing. Would make an excellent TV series.
