5 of 7 people found the following review helpful By Norman Castor on January 6, 2006
Format: Mass Market Paperback
I absolutely loved this book. I've read it 4 times and it never gets old. It is about a group of high school students who decide to camp out in a cave. They invite the high school geek to join them to set him up. Typical high school fare of a little sex, drugs, etc.

As they go deeper in the cave they find they are hopelessly lost and not alone. The "demons" are so accurately described you can almost see them looking over your should while you read.

I would love to see this made into a movie. I have read other books with similar subjects and none come close.

Buy the book, you will read it over and over again and get the sense of dread and fear each and every time!!!

THIS WAS THE MOST UNFORGETABLE BOOK I HAVE EVER READ,IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT DOWN. RIGHT UP THERE WITH WM. W. JOHNSTONE WHO WAS ALWAYS MY #1 AUTHOR. DAVID ROBBINS IS AN EXCITING WRITER, CAUSING THE READER'S HAIR TO STAND ON END! I HAVE PASSED THIS BOOK AROUND TO SO MANY FRIENDS THAT IT HAS FALLEN APART IN SHREDS!

One of my all time favorite books, David Robbins has to be one of the great writers. Whatch out Stephen King and Dean Koontz you guys are good but you have close competition...
