The reviewer below my comments is an idiot if he thinks this is a sub par effort from Venom. This is the most inspired offering from the band in a long time. The songs simply shred and are a bit more thrash oriented then other albums of the past. If you are a venom fan, or are a fan of old school thrash in generally, pick up this album.

Venom are truly the god's of Black Metal. If heavy metal has Priest and Sabbath as their metal gods then Venom are the god's Black Metal bands salute, and rightly so. This album shows once again why Venom are no joke, are a truly classic Black Metal giant and the blue print to make pure Black Metal greatness. Heavy as hell on a hot day, Hail Venom! \m/\m/ Every track on this album is heavy, brutal, fast and awesome the way metal should be, the vocals are great, the drums are stellar and the songs are very well put together. Metallica please take some notes from Venom on how to be a metal band.

I loved the cd titled HELL very heavy and if you are a VENOM fan like me you will appreciate it
the line up changed a diff guitar player and drummer but the vocals are still CRONOS bass and vocals im happy with it cant wait till the new one comes out sometime this year

Venom . a band that tries to paly hard and the result is noise instead of music. If you are new try Black metal and Cast in stone . The other albums are average and below average. In this album they are below average. The tracks are very boring. The vocals are noisy and the bass is so stupid that makes you hold your ears. The production is not very good (Since we have 20011) we are not in the80s. This album is only for Venom collectors.

Better than "Metal Black".
Prior albums all the way up to "Resurrection" were simply superior.
Only buy if your a "DIE HARD" (pun intended) venom fan.
