About the Author

Louise Schouwenberg is a Dutch artist, writer and publicist. She writes for the Dutch art magazine Metropolis M, is a contributing editor of FRAME magazine and tutors at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. She has a long association with Hella Jongerius which dates back to 1997, is the author of the previous Phaidon monograph on Jongerius, Hella Jongerius (Phaidon, 2003) and has contributed to a large number of books on design.

I bought a used version that was supposed to be in good shape. I opened it and it is a non mint copy. On this particular copy, this means the color throughout the book is terrible and it is missing pages. Which if you know and love Hella's work, the color is an important part of the design. I have seen the book before and was blown away by the amazing content and graphics/color. This non mint copy was not a part of the used book description, so I am not happy with my purchase.
