The full title is Hellboys - Italo Megamix by DJ Hell. It's been around in the form of an unofficial CD-R for a while, before Hell finally got clearance on all the tracks. He's now able to officially release it via his International Deejay Gigolo Records label. Italo Disco fans and anyone with an interest in an exciting slice of dance music past should thank him dearly.

He starts the mix off with a track from of one of the most desirable 80's 12" Italo records, Livin' Up by B.W.H. It certainly starts off at an energetic pace, as this seems like it would be a track saved for late in someone's mix, as it's fast, explosive, with a catchy as hell (no pun intended) synth melody. He wastes no time with more incredible representations of the Disco and Italo Disco genres, including the notorious Patrick Cowley remix of Donna Summer's I Feel Love, Cerrone's Supernature, and Mr. Flagio's Take a Chance. There's a good mixture of instrumentals and female, male, and robotic vocals.

Hell strategically uses an electro track of his own, from his 2003 album NY Muscle to completely blow up this already fast and furious mix. Top to bottom, this is a steady flow of lost but shouldn't be forgotten dance music. It's a must own mix and is still rather hard to find, even though it's now had an official release. Be sure and track this CD down soon, before it gets as pricey and hard to find as some of the rare 12" tracks found on here.
