i was there front lines day two to experience hellfest 2K3 and to be able to see all the camera angles is amazing and yes it was that intense people doing back flips off amps and kick flips i was one of the people that was interviewed on the first disc the people were great and the music was great and i wish they would bring this event back to the fairgrounds because theres nothing else like it here in syracuse i wish there was a little more from each of the bands that played but for the price you cant go wrong it has gone down ALOT than what they were first asking at hot topic so BUY IT!

i like music dvd's this one is a steal at 3-5 bucks but dont pay anymore than that!

I waited forever to get this dvd in the mail and after the 2002 one i thought that this year would be much better but its not the case at all. They spent god knows how much money on a camera crane for crowd reactions and dancing, but you'd swear the thing was broken judging by the amount they use it. Im convinced that the makers of this dvd selfishly kept all the quality, funny and interesting footage for themselves and gave us the boring stuff. Why would you put half of one of the best hellfest moments (every time i die stage dive) on the dvd menu but not put it on dvd itself?? Other things like the lamb of god "wall of death" you would just assume it would be on there. Also the highlight reels can be found on the high roller studios website as trailers so half the second disc is useless. Despite the terrible scene selection the performances are great and the sound quality is very good as well. So if you like the bands on this dvd, then get it but if you are looking for the best of hellfest in video form , you wont find much here, you're better off going to the festival in person. Too bad the promotion for this dvd is better then the actual dvd itself.

live performances by CKY and the dillinger escape plan make this DVD worth getting. both those bands rip sh*t up out of control

hell yeh vol3!!! 36 or 38 w/e bands on this dvd. its gonna b crazy, the red chord!! norma jean!! i would be happy w/ those to bands on one dvd, but theres like 35 other bands hell yeh pik this dvd up!

Hellfest looks like a very fun music festival to attend and this DVD does a very good job of showing what the Hellfest experience is like. With top notch performances from The Red Chord, Figure Four, Full Blown Chaos, Terror, Biohazard, Unearth, Lamb of God, Death Threat etc. any fan of hardcore should enjoy this DVD. I wont even bother commenting on the punk bands that are on this DVD (Bouncing Souls, Anti-Flag, Thursday) because that crap isn't even music. Listen to Lamb of God and TERROR!
