Any performer's "Best of" collection is a matter of opinion. I do like every one of Claudine's songs that appear on this CD. However, there are a few of her songs that do not appear on this recording that, in my opinion, would be a better representation of her best work. That said, this collection would be an excellent choice for anyone looking to own a wide representative sample of her work without buying every album that she ever made. The quality is excellent and you will enjoy it if you decide to purchase this collection.

My mother listened to Claudine Longet when I was a child and so I have very fond memories of this music. I love her voice...soft and feminine. I very much enjoy this CD and I highly recommend it to any Longet fan.

I think I hear an angel sing every time I crank up Claudine's CD's. Fallen angel? Perhaps... But aren't we all? The truth of the human heart shines through her songs, be they written especially for her, or merely covers. I predict the day will come when music lovers again swoon to her songs. Indeed, critics of the future will praise her music to heights not known even in her hey day...

I had 2 albums by Claudine several years ago, but through time they were lost. I was very happy to find this CD. It brings back many good memories. Without hesitation, I would say that she has the softest voice that I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. I really wish that she would make a new CD.

Love this CD-Love Claudine. Best selection in my opinion! Listened to this music during my romantic era, still love it. THANKS AMAZON!!

All songs in this album are so warm...Claudine's performance is almost fantastic...I like it very much..

Have searched for a long time for Caudine Longet cd. She was a real talent and this cd brings back many memories. I own a recording studio and spent almost 30 years in broadcasting and was concerned about the quality of an older cd, but was pleasently suprised by the great quality of the cd. You'll love it!

It has been25 years since I have heard the unusual childlike voice with the infantile r .I fell in love with Claudine when I first heard her sing and the CD rekindled the romance.

Of all the non-hits on here, why couldnt they at least include the 45's that were released? ....Like the Onion song! Oh well. :(

I was hoping to find songs taken from previous recordings (on other records). What I got is a short walk down memory lane of clipped versions with overdubbed loud instrumentals. One more regift!
