In this delightful new story, we meet Biscuit when he first comes home with The-Girl-in-Purple-Sneakers. The girl is welcoming the puppy to her home and realizes that she must give him a name. She tries to think of something descriptive (he is small and yellow). But when that doesn't work she looks at more traditional names. All throughout, however, Biscuit (nameless so far) keeps distracting her. Eventually the girl hits on the perfect name.

A cut story with more of the excellent illustrations we have come to expect from the series.

Great series of books for early readers - my daughter loves Biscuit and each new book we get is such an incentive for her to practice her reading!

My two year old asks for this book so much that she can nearly recite it herself. :)

It is a great book to read. If you are a little baby, you probably cannot read it, but if mom or dad reads it then you will read it anyway. So Hello Biscuit! is the best book ever. You will love it so much. You can read it if you like dogs because it has a dog in it and if you do not like dogs you don't have to read it at all.
