We love all the Calico books but this one is my favorite! The paintings are beautiful- much better to look at than computer illustrations. We love the rhymes and have been reading it for a couple of years.

A cute rhyming board book great for any child who's a cat or animal lover.

This book has an adorable rhyme and adorable pictures. My daughter loves the butterflies! Fun to read.

I bought this book for my son after he recieved Uh Oh, Calico! for his birthday. He is 2 years old and he absolutely adores both books! They are fun to read, but short enough to hold his attention.

We bought the Calico books because we have a Calico cat (who we call Calico - original, aren't we?) One of our daughter's first words was "Calico" so when I found these books, I had to get them.

I loved them right away, actually received them at work and read them aloud to my co-workers. I really enjoy children's books that rhyme, and these books are no exception. They are so fun to read, and the words are simple enough that even the littlest kids pick up on the words right away.

this is my little boy's favorite book. he's 10months old now and has loved it since he was about 4 months old!
the story is simple, easy to follow (when he's older, i suppose). the simple rhymes are rhythmic and set a nice pace. plus, it's easy to memorize so you don't have to look at the page to read it (which i love b/c my little man has started flipping pages).
i also really appreciate the illustrations. they're full page, bright, colorful and all together lovely. i've seen so many children's books with big open white spaces in the illustrations...lots just left blank. and so many have really crappy illustrations. but these are beautiful and engaging.

My Grandaughter is two and a half years old. She lives in Sarasota, Florida with her parents. I usually pick out three to four books per purchase, and have them shipped to Sarasota. The choice of books is so varied and fantastic, I always have trouble sticking to a limit. I usually do not see the choices in bookstores. If I do, they are twice the price.

Morgan is an intelligent little girl! Of course! She calls me after a few days and tells me which book is her favorite. My daughter-in law tells her family and friends not to buy her books because the best come from Grandmom.

Amazon helps me to keep me in touch with my Sarasota family and the wide range of childrens books gives us something special to share.
