Format: Paperback
It's a simple story about a fire truck that gets called to a house to rescue a kitten. It has a simple cadence of rhyming text accompanied by pleasant illustrations. To be honest I'm not entirely sure why my toddler loves this book as much as she does but she carries it around and even sleeps with it at night so there is something special about it!

I used this book for a classroom Literacy lesson for 1st Grade. The rhyming words are perfect for helping children not only enjoy the emergency challenges of our great firefighters but also provides a solid grounding for walking children through phonemic practice.
