I received this as a gift from my boyfriend, and I absolutely love it! The box I got my mouse in was different from the one pictured, but the mouse and the item number on the bar code is the same. The mouse is a small size so it's perfect for my smaller hands; it's advertised as a kid's mouse, but if you have smaller than average hands, this will fit nicely. It fits really snugly in my hand, whereas a normal sized mouse is always too big.

A warning to those of you who are sensitive to blinking lights, however, this mouse is a like a disco mouse. The lights are so bright and they don't stop blinking the entire time it's plugged in. I love it! Hello Kitty is featured inside, floating around on the blue water. If you love Hello Kitty and like blinking lights, this mouse is perfect for you.

I love Hello Kitty so I had to have this mouse. My husband on the other thinks it to small and the lights can be distracting. When I first got it, the blue liquid was clear, I'm noticing that the figurine is dissolving into the blue liquid. I wouldn't purchase this again.

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter last year for Christmas and it has held up nicely. We've taken it with us on road trips and from room to room with the laptop (with a couple of low drops on carpet) and it still works with no damage. My daughter loves it! I recommend for any Hello Kitty fan.

One thing to keep in mind though. Like others have mentioned it has blinking lights and they do not turn off when the computer goes into sleep mode. The desk is in my bedroom so if my daughter forgets to turn the computer off we have these bright blue blinking lights when we go to bed.

I got this for my daughter but love it so much, I got one for myself. I work in a very geeky IT shop and when all the guys saw it, they thought it was awesome. They instantly got online to see if it came in some other "boy" design. One guy said, "I want a mouse that lights up with water inside and a toy!" I also love the excellent quality, the feel of the mouse, and the great performance. As an IT professional, I've owned a LOT of mice. This one is one of the best I've owned so far.

I received this mouse as a gift, as I am a known Hello Kitty fanatic. However, I actually have a laptop with trackpad, so it didn't get any use until my boyfriend's mouse died.

If the mouse merely *lit up*, that would be fun. Even if it blinked while you were moving it, that would be fun! What's not so fun is the constant, blinking, color-phasing light display that inexplicably emanates from this mouse. You know how cop cars use a cycle of slow blinks, followed by fast blinks, designed to get and keep your attention?? That's exactly what this mouse does, only in Technicolor! It does not stop when you stop using it, unless you unplug it from the USB port. It is like this ALL THE TIME.

So, if you find yourself with a dearth of relatively-bright, colorful, constantly-blinking lights in your home, this mouse should be perfect for you! We actually have left it on because it's so weird we think it's funny, and it's in a place where we don't always see it. If your computer is in a bedroom, and if the USB ports are in the back, steer clear!

I bought this as a fun accessory for my office, but upon plugging it in realized it constantly flashes colored lights nonstop. No way to disable that. Had to return it, since my coworkers would hate me for having it on all the time.

My wife and daughter love the mouse. It is small, but not too small. Small enough that a 3 year old can handle it but large enough that an adult can use it without trouble. The little Hello Kitty that floats in the mouse is cute. It was a gift and my wife was most surprised that a mouse had liquid inside! The lights are always on and can be a bit distracting if you use it with darker lighting in the room. Recommend this to any Hello Kitty fan that wants a fun mouse at a reasonable price.

Bought this for my girlfriend, who is a Hello Kitty addict. She loves the design, but the lights are a no go for her. Her PC still supplies power to usb when shut down, without the ability to turn it off, then the flashing lights on the mouse can be annoying. Either have to unplug it or open it up to paint over/remove the lights. It was fairly easy to do this if you have a screwdriver and some know-how.

In terms of performance, it's no Logitech. It gets the job done though. A usb cord mouse. No stuttering or hard mouse click/wheel.

This mouse is so darn cute I can't get over it. I have to warn you though, the LEDs flash and change color, which is why my family calls this the 'Disco' mouse. It's slightly smaller than a regular mouse and fits my hand perfectly. It's not super sensitive,so you don't double click by accident like with some others. I'm glad I found it.

This mouse is a trip.

It's ALWAYS blinking incessantly. There is no way to turn it off other than to unplug it. It's also very small so it's a little silly to use as an adult. Little girls, totally cool.

It also broke very quickly. A month or so and the cursor was jumping all over the place on the screen. Cleaning it didn't help, and eventually it just died.

It was fun while it lasted, but bottom line is that it didn't.
