This is the perfect little tv/dvd for a little girl's room! The picture is great and Hello Kitty pops on screen for certain commands (volume, channel change..). My daughter age 4 loves it. I would have given this product 5 stars but there are a couple drawbacks...the remote control is has SO many buttons and they are VERY tiny, very close together. I can barely read what each button does because the labels/print is also VERY tiny. This is annoying when in my daughter's darkened room and I have to turn on a bright light just to find the pause button... the other thing I have to point out that bugs me is that you can't eject/or open the dvd player unless the tv is in dvd mode. In other words when I go to put in a dvd, I can't just push "open". Nothing will happen. You have to find the right button, choose "dvd" from a choice of 3-4 things, and only then will the tray slide open. All in all, these things would not prevent me from buying this tv again...although it would be nice if they did come out w/ a more kid friendly remote with bigger buttons/symbols for a small child to recognize... One great thing I want to point out--there is fast forward scan that you can watch as it fast forwards (something not all dvd players offer) and this is great when you are putting a dvd in for your child and they want to skip all those pre-movie ads....you can FF right to the beginning of the movie!!!

The Hello Kitty televison with DVD is perfect!~!!!! It fits great in a toddlers room on the dresser... it is not to big and not to small... it is fun and easy for my little one to use.... she turned 4 this year and she loves it!!!!!

This Product is great especially when you have kids and grandkids who love the caracters and this new version of any tv/dvd combos is so great because everything is in one and takes up less space and not have or need more space for buying everything separatly and having to look for corresponding remotes, its so easy everything build into one unit, which I find personally very great.

This TV is easy to use for a young child and so far seems to be real durable as well. The simple images on the screen allow the child to find their own way around.

My daughter loves all things Hello Kitty and when she wanted a television for her newly decorated bedroom, she fell in love with the Hello Kitty TV/DVD combo at first site. Her smile upon seeing it in her bedroom lasted for about three months. She initially used it for watching the television, but as soon as she attempted to use the DVD, things began to go from smiles to tears. It became evident very quickly that this was a VERY poorly made product. After searching and finding other reviews, that belief was verified. The DVD player began to make noises after only about the third or fourth usage and from there, the picture began to freeze and stop, until finally, the DVD player died all together. We returned the item only to have the same results after the same amount of product usage. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. I had assumed that the Hello Kitty company would have put a little more quality or pride into something with their name on it, but this product is far from a quality piece of merchandise.

This is one of the cutest products and my wife had to have for our twin daughters. It has been nothing but trouble. You have to place the TV in dvd mode for the dvd to run and so we have to set for the girls they cannot do on own. In addition it hangs up in the DVD start-up sometimes works others not (especially if they have had the tv on for a time). Remote is not balanced and is weighted on the oposite end of normal remotes so the girls got confused on which end to point to the tv. Also the weight of it made it difficult for them to hold in small hands.
Except for how cute it is I would not buy again otherwise I would have given one star instead of two! Eventhough the unit is still working we are buying a different TV combo this week!

Cant send back because my 4 year old thinks it was a gift from Santa. I expected a new product, but I don't think it is. I tried to turn on the parental locks and apparently there was already a code that I obviously don't know, so I cannot put the parental locks on the tv in my four year old daughter's room.Don't think I will be buying from this seller again.

I am amazed at all of the negative reviews of this product. I don't know if the TV has changed in five years, but we had purchsed our TV five years ago, and have had absolutely no problems with it. In fact, the DVD function, which seems to be the most complained about feature, was the function my daughter used the most. She used it almost daily for five years, and it is still working great!! We love this TV, and we will store it and pass it on to the next generation. GREAT product!!

We sent it back once with in the first week of having it. We got a "new" one that's dvd door fell off. We kept it because it was too much of a pain to send back and it didnt effect the function just looked bad. Then less then a year into having the sound went out and a week later it stopped playing all togther. Save your money and just by a normal name brand tv for you kids. These character ones may be cute but they are a waste of money!

I BOUGHT THIS TV LAST YEAR FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO LOVES HELLO KITTY...SHE WAS 2 AT THE TIME...THE DVD PLAYER WORKED VERY WELL THE VERY FIRST TIME AND THATS IT. I WISH I HAD READ REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED IT. ITS THE CUTEST TV I HAVE EVER SEEN, AND THE REGULAR CABLE IS FINE, WORKS GREAT, BUT WE COULDNT USE THE DVD PLAYER, WHICH IS VERY ESSENTIAL TO 2 AND 3 YR OLDS! ALSO, I HAD A LEAPSTER GAME TO HOOK UP TO THE TV FOR HER, THE SPECTRA BRAND INFORMATION COULDNT BE FOUND. ITS CUTE, BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING!
