Misleading reviews
My daughter is a Hello Kitty fan but her current different model clock radio is dying and she needs a new one. Rather than get the same one, I'm getting this one. A couple of points about the two reviews on this item: 1. The warning label is required by law but nothing to worry about. Dr. Dean Edell covered this subject on his radio health show...

The above product came with a WARNING, which is the following: the coated electrical wire of this product is known to the state of California to be a carcinogen or reproductive toxicant; Wash Hands After Handling

My daughter is a Hello Kitty fan but her current different model clock radio is dying and she needs a new one. Rather than get the same one, I'm getting this one.
A couple of points about the two reviews on this item: 1. The warning label is required by law but nothing to worry about. Dr. Dean Edell covered this subject on his radio health show recently. His explanation was all soft cord insulation uses lead to soften it (i.e. allow it to bend), so this warning applies to all electrical products. Thank our government for requiring alarming warnings that we can't do anything about and that really don't impact our lives. California's prop 65, anyone? 2. To the second reviewer, you gave it a bad review because you don't like Hello Kitty? Why not just return it and exchange it for one you DO like instead?

I bought this clock several years ago for my daughter. The radio reception is strong and clear, alarm & time are reliable, and it's easy to read. I'd recommend this cute ice cream cone clock to any HK fan.
