This is a beautiful calendar to have in one's room and it also makes a delightful gift (for Christmas, birthdays, etc). I bought it for my kid sister recently (who's a big Hello Kitty fan). Of all the calendars I see in the stores, I think the Hello Kitty calendar is still the CUTEST, most colorful and most value-for-money. Each month is represented by a most adorable full-color picture of Hello Kitty. Also included are 2 pages of stickers (featuring Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends) and a lovely poster (that you can frame up).

The theme for this year's calendar is "travel across the USA". Each month shows Hello Kitty visiting a specific place (e.g. Hawaii and Alaska). Just flip open the calendar and your heart would be instantly won over by the first picture which shows Hello Kitty in a red pinafore, all ready for school and looking so sweet!

There are slight differences between the 'layout' in the 2006 calendar and 2005's. In 2005's, small characters/cute drawings are printed on some of the dates. But in the 2006 calendar, the dates page is not 'adorned' with any characters/drawings. Also, more autumn colors (brown, yellow, green) are used for the backround in 2006, unlike previous year's where there is more red and pink (which is Hello Kitty's trademark color). A pity. For the above 2 reasons, I would say the 2005 calendar is more attractive.

Amazon.com allows you to view the pictures of most of the months. All are cute but I like 'April' the best (for its spring colors). If you're buying this calender outside the US, the COVER you see may be different from what is shown on Amazon.com. The cover will most likely be bright pink with the words "Hello Kitty 2006" and a large Hello Kitty face in the center. But the contents are the same as in the US version.

Hello Kitty = CUTE, and this is THE calender to buy!

Our six year old daughter loves this book!! There are so many interesting quick facts and it is so bright and cheery to look at. Well worth the price.

This is a very cute book, with highlights for each state. It's colorful and easy to read, and gives a good sense of the differences in each region and state. I bought several copies for small nieces (3-7 years old), but I liked it so well I wanted one for myself!

We have this book in hard cover and love it! My daughter from the age of two has been able to correctly identify 25 different states and something about them because of this book. She loves the hello kitty pictures and I love that it has a full 2 page map at the end for her to refer to when we are talking about one of the states. This has been great for our family vacations to help her recognize where we are going..... Excellent book for young children. At almost 4 years of age this is still a favorite....

i like the hello kitty calendars. they are different every year and come with cool stickers.

This was purchased for our granddaughter for her birthday in January. I was very pleased with the quality of the book and the illustrations! A good way to teach kids about the USA states!!

If your child or grandchild is into Hello Kitty, they will love this adorable book. I bought it for my granddaughter's second birthday. I think she will return to it for quite some time to come.

Great way to discover the states for little ones. Really colorful and the pictures/graphics are so fun... Hello Kitty style. I'd also recommend Hello Kitty, Hello World.

I love my new calendar. It is the best. It has lots of space to write my dates to remember and the pictures are soo cool.
