Hello Kitty DVD Player with Remote Control

I got this DVD player 9 months ago and have been using it daily, ever since. I bought it to replace an older RCA player that died after years of good service. Because I started glazing over at all of the varieties of DVD players out there, I decided on this one simply because it was adorable and cheap (and I figured, even if it didn't work for long, it was super cute). Happily, it's still going strong. I have been using it daily for AT LEAST 5-6 hours per day--it's been my recouperation buddy after surgery & througout lengthy physical therapy, and it has held up like a trouper (and it's still SUPER cute, so it always makes me smile just to look at it). The only thing I would change about this machine is that it doesn't save the place on the DVD you're watching if you turn it off, so (unless I'm missing something in the instructions) each time you turn it on, you must use the chapter select funtion to find the place where you left off on your DVD. It's a minor pain, but I will say, after all this time, I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me now as much as it did when I initally got the machine. I really love this DVD player (plus, it takes up very little space next to the TV), so much so that I actually bought a second one for my other TV & I love that one too (it works well too!).

I already had a dvd player, but I was at a retail store looking around and I saw this hello kitty dvd player sitting there. I have a 55" HDTV and what really caught my eye about this dvd player that is for "kids" is that it can be played in Progressive Scan which means I get the best picture for my TV with a dvd player like this and the other one I had didn't have that. So, I was sold on it and I am an obsessive complusive hello kitty buyer and fan. I practically have EVERYTHING hello kitty so it was a great addition to my collection!

I really like this DVD player. It's so cute. It matches my tv and I love how it sits upright, it works great. I wasn't sure what to rate educational value? I guess it really depends on what you watch!

I recently purchased this from the Toys-R-Us store. I got the dvd player home and it would not work. I took it back to the store and got another one. I asked to make sure it worked before I left the store and when it was hooked up it would not work as well. We opened our third box and finally it started to play, but when I got home with the player it only played for 5 minutes before shutting off automatically!!

I bought this dvd player, even though i already have one! I love hello kitty and just had to have it! There really isnt anything special about the dvd player other than the fact that it is hello kitty!
