I got this for the wife for Christmas - She loved it. It heats up quickly and has a hot indicator so you know when its ready to cook. A good tip when making pancakes is to give it a little shot of spray oil or whatnot while its cold. Makes taking the waffles out a bit easier.

True - the waffles are small - which led to the wife making a whole big deal out of handing out waffles a couple at a time. sometimes she and the kid kill an hour in the morning cooking/eating and they have a ball.

Tip #2 is don't try to put eggs in there :-) I can speak for the wife in saying scrambled eggs stick like the dickens - so no Hello Kitty shaped Omelette.

We've had it now for 4 months and its still as good as day 1. If you're looking for a novelty breakfast treat, this is for you.

This is a great product. My daughter went off to college and wanted a waffle maker. She has always loved Hello Kitty, so this was the perfect choice. She loves it! It is very cute and best of all it makes great waffles quickly and easily.

I have this same waffle maker. My daughters love the Hello Kitty characters and so do I so this seemed to be a great purchase, and it is! However I bought mine at Target for $20. Its a steal for that price, not so much for the $35 listed here.

In the past, I was never a big waffle fan, so I never really put much mileage on previous waffle irons. Partially because they always frustrated me. Inconsistent heating, so one waffle might have taken five minutes but another takes eight or three, so your waffles are either burnt or gooey, or you open the iron too early and it makes a huge mess... whatever, it was irritating. Now that i've finally perfect my waffle dough recipe my waffle iron sees a lot more use, and this thing has been a dream! It makes waffles quickly and consistently, unlike waffle irons I've used in the past (Emeril's waffle/sandwich/pizelle maker was its predecessor). Plus, there are several different shapes so its really easy for portion control. They are also a lot more portable than regular waffles, and are a convenient size for eating in the car on my way to class.

I've had this waffle iron for two years now and make waffles every one or two weeks, and it has served me faithfully. Plus, my roommate's horrible boyfriend thinks they are stupid so I don't have to share. Bonus!

it works nicely on cornbread/ muffin mixes as well. very good!! very cute!!

I like this waffle maker a lot because its so cute!

The drawback is that the waffle sizes turn out really small; and to feed four people, I have to go through the waffle making process on the appliance twice. It's annoying in the morning when I'm in a rush, but some people would say that it is worth having an adorable image on the waffle.

I don't recommend this product if you are looking for a waffle maker that's going to make a lot of "average" sized waffles quickly for your family. This is simply a cute appliance meant to make a bunch of small waffles for your amusement.

You can avoid shipping fees for this product if you buy it in Target. Target carries this product during the holiday season only!

I recently bought this for myself and I was iffy about it since I read that it was hard to figure out but the first batch I made were perfect. This Waffle maker is amazing and make the best waffles i've ever had. I strongly recommend this for anyone.

I just used this waffle maker and it is great! It cooks the waffles quickly and they taste great. i also love the hello kitty pattern in the mold. My husband even enjoyed them!

As a gluten free bread fan I struggle to find ways of making food taste like it did when I was growing up. The problem- gluten free batter doesn't always behave the way wheat flour does and most cooking implements were product tested with wheat flour batter. This little kitty worked like a charm. I've found that when I make bready foods the smaller the portion, the better the chance it will cook throughly and taste the way I like (slightly crunchy/burnt other may call it). I'm going to try it with different flour batters and update. The waffles it makes are small, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches wide, so no you can't feed an army quickly. You can feed somewhat patient people a fun sunday meal. Also, the waffles should be place kitty face up (otherwise they can get soggy from the humidity), but they stored great in the fridge and were crunchy when I heated them up the next day.

Got it quick in one piece and made me the hero of xmas. Have heard no complaints, only happiness.
