Collaborating with German composer/arranger/conductor Hermann Weindorf, Engelbert co-wrote 7 songs for this album, all of them melodic and wonderful, my favorite of them is the title track, and another, "Reach Out", was "Dedicated to all the beautiful children who innocently suffer with the HIV virus".
Also included are 3 early hits for Eng, "Release Me", "After the Lovin'" and "The Last Waltz", and these new recordings have their own unique flavor to them, and are fabulous.

A big favorite of mine on this CD is "Only Love", and another song of note is "We Fell in Love", which Englebert sings with his daughter Louise Dorsey, and was for a dramatization called "The Windsors", about the Duke and Dutchess.
A song I have never cared for...in fact have loathed, is the big hit for Bryan Adams "(Everything I do) I do it for You)", and here I find it enjoyable, proving that Engelbert's voice and artistry are a force for great change.

With the voice track recorded in Los Angeles, while Weindorf conducted the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London, and the tracks were mixed in Munich, this is an international effort, and somehow has a very European feel to it.
Though this isn't one of my Engelbert desert isle CDs, it's a beautiful, masterful recording, with exquisite vocals and lush, lovely orchestrations.
The foldout insert has a song listing, and total playing time is 67'45.

Every song on this Cd is excellent, many written by Enge himself. "We fell in Love" is just one of the many super songs on this album, not just that one. They are all great! I am a fan forever, and a real Engelbert fan says all the songs on this cd are superb as well as the matching concert video.

This is not my favorite CD, however, I would recommend purchasing it for one song - WE FELL IN LOVE...This song is so beautiful..It is from the musical dramatization "The Windors" and features daughter "Louise". The two together sing this song as if they were there when the king was dying. If you purchase this CD you will surely feel the emotion of this song. Other recordings are "Only Love"--"Hello Out There"...Add this CD to your collection even if it is just for ONE song, you won't regret it....ENJOY!

After discovering Engelbert's perfect note for note vocals i am now in search mode for classic songs he has recorded throughout the years and i'm findng there are many. Even doing cover songs he brings his own unique vocal style to them and often times makes them better. This CD has a few more classics on them- Only Love, Take it to heart, Hearts in the Dark and Falling in Love Again.
He never sings bad but after listening to Eng a while you can tell where he really sinks his voice into songs or not and while there are a few other well done songs on this CD making it worth buying, the 4 songs i mentioned are the ones he really got into vocally.

I bought this CD at a Walgreen's several years ago, on the front counter display. One of those "impulse purchases" stores like you to notice - while you are waiting in line. I bought it for around $3. It is such a favorite that I keep it in the car most of the time.

The "bookends" for me are the favorites: Hello Out There and We Fell In Love. Then, even everything else in between is wonderful. I just love the sound of Engelbert's voice on this CD. I highly recommend it.

The music cd I ordered came in a reasonable time. It was not damaged and was the exact item I ordered. I will order again.

This CD is the one to purchase if you are an Engelbert fan. There are some great songs on here and the sound quality is excellent.

I have many Engelbert cd's. Love the orchestra background with this one.
If you like Engelbert,you need this cd of him.Just great music with great songs!
