Book Description

With no roadmap to follow, Susan chose to face breast cancer without chemotherapy, radiation or hormone treatment. Today she is 8 years healthy and works as a professional therapist and counselor. This is her story.

After having a quarter of her breast removed, Susan could not accept the rationalization of chemotherapy, radiation or hormone therapy.

Forced by the lack of resource materials available for “cancer and alternative healing options”, she began her courageous journey of exploring and practicing natural healing.

In a self-guided approach, Susan is candid, honest and powerful as she taps into her inner wisdom, reconnecting to her own emotional, physical, mental and spiritual self…transforming her life forever!

After regaining her health, Susan has been inspired to share her challenges, insights and healing journey – she wants others to know that there IS another way to heal.

5.0 out of 5 stars an inspirational read July 30, 2013

Susan D'Agostino undertook a difficult journey as she battled cancer, which she describes in clear and sympathetic detail which any cancer patient could understand. Her brave and difficult decision to choose a non-traditional path to healing is inspiring and insightful. A must-read for anyone facing a battle like hers.

5.0 out of 5 stars is GOOD FOR SUSAN April 25, 2015

All I can say, having experienced first-hand the hard-nosed, uncompassionate "doctors" at the Cancer Agency, is GOOD FOR SUSAN! We all know the first sentence of the Hippocratic Oath: First, do no harm. When someone looks at you and gives you a prognosis of six months and doesn't give a you-know-what, is this "doing no harm"? These guys are clueless as to the placebo and nocebo effect, and know nothing about psychoneuroimmunology or epigenetics...nor do they care to. Look who sits of the boards of these cancer agencies...all the big drug companies.

But I rant! Susan has delivered a very good book presenting her personal approach to her disease. Maybe it is not for all, as many people love the idea of a doctor looking after them and giving them all the latest, greatest drugs and treatment. This book is for those who choose not to subscribe to limited thinking. After reading it, they can make their choices.
