Pretty Good - Could be Better!
on November 14, 2013
I simple little game and well worth the price (LOL).
It's a computerized form of pachinko with multiple "layouts" available. Each "Picture" is a different layout.
The play of the game is very simple -- drop the ball and watch where it goes. As the ball drops, it bounces off "pegs" and collects points by passing through balls of various sizes. It can even hit the bottom and bounce back up into the playing field collecting more points. When it does settle at the bottom, the position determines if the points collected are added to the total (landing in a green check) or subtracted from the total (landing in a red "X").
It can have up to 4 players and the computer. Even the computer is optional so you can literally play this by yourself in solitaire mode. Three drops for each player makes a game. High score wins. High score could be least negative score.
It's simple and good for a few relaxing time-wasting minutes. However, it does have some drawbacks. It has no options (such as to turn off the weird music but leave the sound effects). It has no "profiles" and has no way to save the results - such as a single drop high score/layout or game high score. You cannot change the number of drops/game even. For novice players, there is no help!
There is no way to save your settings of number of players and the computer or even the last used layout. It always resets to "Stone", 1 player, with computer.
The controls on the screen are simple:
Select which layout you want (any of 5 - Stone, Lake, Sky, Tower, Canyon)
Select how many players and if to use the computer as a player.
Begin by clicking on "Play"
Environment controls (home page):
Upper Right Corner (diagonal arrow icon): Toggle between windowed/full-screen mode
Upper Right Corner (Red "power" icon): Exit
Lower right corner (speaker icon): turn on/off sound
For the game:
Upper right Corner (question mark): Simple "about" for the name of the developer
Move cursor left/right to move your "ball" and click to drop it.
