5.0 out of 5 stars excellent source of our early nuclear history, November 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
If you wish a concise history of our early nuclear weapons history, this is an excellent source. The authors spend much time explaining the Manhatten Projet but not enough with the Thermonuclear weapons developed after the end of WW II. Even with this slight, the book is interesting and worth purchasing.

This review is from: Hells' Fire: A History of the Atomic and Thermonuclear Weapons Programs, From Hiroshima to the Cold War and the War on Terror (Kindle Edition)
This is a good read-if you like reading about mass destruction and the power of the split atom. But I think that some people don't understand that nuclear power plant meltdowns and meltthroughs are far more harmful-in the long term. Try reading Atomic Power: Necessary Evil or Virtually Uncontrollable Force that's Wrecking the Planet?.
