A modern day biker romance.

Addison has had a hard life. Her mother is useless, and her father hasn't been in her life for years. When her mother dies, she's left with no money and an angry man after her. She goes to the only person she knows can take care of her right now - her father. She knows her father is the President of an MC club, but she doesn't quite realize just how much she will come to rely on that club.

Cade is everything she knows she should stay away from, and yet she can't seem to keep herself from wanting him. He's the club VP, gorgeous, rugged, charming and he makes her feel again. She should be running, she should be escaping the demons of her past, but instead she finds herself falling for the gorgeous biker.

Come on this whirlwind romance with two broken people, who figure out how to put each other back together.

I am sure that i am not the only one that is not appreciative of all the cliffhangers and 40 part series that seem to the trend these days. So happy that this author gave me what i needed. A hell of a good story and a dern HEA to boot.
Can't wait for Spike's story.

Thank you Bella

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed!!! August 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I finished it. I want to give you honest review, and please don't be upset because this is how I feel. I have read a lot of books, and when I say that, I can honestly say close to a thousand. Now, I don't want to trash talk because one: I am not a writer, and two: as an author they give their heart out to this book. Based on my opinion, and how feel about the book, I would give it a 2 stars out of five.

Reasons: 1. I felt that it was just forced! I really wanted to love Addison. I can see her struggle, but I have a mix feeling with her. She was raped at 13! Repeatedly! and around drugs, she did drugs, and saw prostitution. That kind of abuse breaks you, I am sorry, it breaks you to your soul. For that, I did not feel her that broken. She is stubborn check, angry, check, broken, nope, did not feel it. Maybe just not enough pages to get her emotions across. She was poorly written, because she was written to be this broken down person, but she comes off spoiled and talks too much. After being raped, she is "dripping" for Cade? Really? After only seeing him for couple of days? I just could not connect to her. 2. Cade: He is Hot! no denying that. I feel that he was also force, maybe not enough character development, because I don't know if he is dangerous, or a prick. And maybe because I did not get to hear his thoughts, so its hard to connect with him, and him with Addison. I needed more with him, more details, just more. Did not get that. 3. There's not enough development with the whole MC. I could not get the picture what kind of MC Hell's Knight was about. I want to actually picture the men involved, the lifestyle, with this story, I had to make it up in my own head. I need more, to get attached to these characters.

I could go on and on.

2.0 out of 5 stars Solid 2.5 Stars August 21, 2013

I didn't really like this book. Too many times it had me like...
*pulling my hair out while screaming at the book*

The premise is a dark one. And one that is all too common. Beyond sad. Something that makes your heart ache, and your blood boil with anger, and causes your will to seek revenge on behalf of the heroine. So it starts off in a way that causes you to be more than a little curious as to how this will all play out. Then it shifts in a way that becomes something so superficial & simple that it has you wondering "Where the heck is the story that I started reading?"

Cade- while he is a handsome devil, clearly beyond the Alpha Biker bad boy, he didn't do much for me. I got a little tingle but no explosion.

Jackson- Addison's father. I felt more of a connection to him than I did with Cade. I really wish that Addison's relationship with her dad was fleshed out more. It had a beautiful making of a great story within this story, it just fell short. I say this cos her father played a big role in the next chapter of her life, but he seemed to still be placed as just added filler without the deep connection there being fully realized.

Addison- She is very mature in many respects for a 21 year old. How could she not be? Considering what she's gone through. But it's because of this, that she ticked me off when she would say, do, or react to certain things that up until those points, her character (as we the reader come to know her as ) would never do. So then these "happenings" would lead to very contrived occurrences within the plot/story. Which only lead to pointless angst filled drama. Which yes, if you're paying attention, killed the story for me.

Not to mention the sex, which there was a decent amount of, was just "meh" for me.

2.0 out of 5 stars didn't enjoy this August 23, 2013
By LBell
Format:Kindle Edition
This had a lot of potential. I don't notice the spelling errors as others have noticed. I can ignore those quite easily. This was a short read. Definitely an insta-love type book, not like there is anything wrong with that.

My problem all boiled down to Addison. I don't enjoy dumb heroines, and she was one X10. Cade would tell her not to do something, and then she would do it anyway. Then she would put herself, the club, and lastly herself I'm danger. She paid for not listening in the end.

Addison also had one major chip on her shoulder. I realize she has one screwed up childhood, but do you really have to take that out on everyone that you come into contact with. Everything that said to her she twists it until she sees something into the comment that's bad.

I'm not sure how this book got such high ratings....

4.0 out of 5 stars good read August 18, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Okay, so I liked this book but I didn't love it. I read it in two hours. It's a short read. I love MC books and this had some grit to it but it felt rushed to me. I think it could have been a little deeper. I would have liked a little more background on Jackson and Addison's mom.

1.0 out of 5 stars DNF @ 52% May 27, 2014

Format:Kindle Edition
This book was pretty awful. The grammar errors weren't truly atrocious except for "Harley Davidson's" which was maybe its only saving grace. I had to stop at 52% because the impulse to throw my kindle across the room was overwhelming. There were so many WTF moments for me especially during the romantic scenes. Here's a list:

1) When Addison first meets her dad and the other bikers, she casually throws out that she was raped on her 13th birthday and hears a gasp. No victim of sexual abuse ever talks so cavalierly about a first abuse especially one that happened as a child. And her dad doesn't follow her to ask about it and want to kill the man who hurt her? Hard to believe.
2) Addison sees Cade getting oral sex from a woman we later learn is his monogamous sexual partner of 3+ years. He's wearing a condom. Odd. Maybe we later learn she has herpes or something? That's not common practice in a monogamous relationship, especially when Cade later has oral sex with Addison without one and super especially as he's just met her and knows she has a history.
3) Speaking of which, why no mention of pregnancies, STDs or other ramifications from being raped by Jasper for years? Does that come out later in the book? And she's his greatest asset, but what did Addison do for Jasper that was so great besides keep her mom alive? BTW 40+ year old meth addicted prostitutes are not that much in demand. And she had a will which is how Addison found her dad? Hilarious.
4) Spoiler. Addison wouldn't leave because she loved her mom and was afraid, but she watched her overdose and die without even trying to help her. Nope.
5) My husband assures me it's almost impossible to have sex on a motorcycle without dumping it.
