I purchased these shoes for my husband because they were waterproof. They definately do not allow any water inside and are made extremely well. He has owned these now for several months and would have worn the tread on the bottom completely out by now with any of the other major brands of gym shoes. He really puts alot of wear and tear into his shoes and these have been really great. If ordering these, however, I would suggest they fit you well from the beginning because since they are waterproof and so tightly woven, they will not stretch like so many other gym shoes do. In quality they are much better than any of the major brands so if you want a really well made pair of shoes that will last, these are for you!

This item was in excellent state when it got delivered.

The pair of shoes itself is very well put together, very sturdy, very comfortable, providing support which is hardly matched by a running shoe (usually hiking shoes provide that level of support)

I received size 8 even though I have purchased size 9, it still be comfortably used, but I am not very happy with it either...
