Wow, I just got this concise, informative and brilliant text book on the M-1 US Army Helmet. It is a instant classic! BUY the book. I have been collecting and displaying M-1 Helmets for several years. I have learned more in five minutes of reading this book,then the last two years. Excellent diagrams and photos guide the reader. BUY the book.

Excellent reference book, well organized and loaded with photos and diagrams. A must have for helmet collectors. Could improve by adding a section on cork finishes and paint colors.

what a great book about M_1 Helmet; it is worth not only to ETO, but to the M-1 helmet history itself; very detailed about shell and liner, suspension, webbing , very worth the money;

modellers, historians, reenactors and the public in general will like this book, surely!
