For the young bride, you can't beat this book. It has all the basics about getting yourself acclimated to married life in that first important year when you are building the foundation for the rest of your lives. Lorraine Sanabria Robertson's voice is funny and down to earth. While it may not be entirely relevant to those who are outside the box (for instance, the older bride, the--ahem--experienced bride, the non-traditional bride), it is a wonderful book full of things you didn't even think about. This Non-traditional bride will keep returning to it waaaay after my first year. Hopefully her site (askwifey.com) will give her fodder for another book!!

I bought this book as a gift for a friend and she loved it. Would definitely recommend it for new brides.

I own this book and bought a couple more, one for an engagement gift and another as a wedding gift. It's a great resource and fun to read. I especially like going to the author's blog to read the weekly tips.
