I found this book to not only be helpful in my marraige but I found that I could apply most of the things to different aspects of my life. Joyce speaks from her heart and explains why what she is saying very well. She also backs up her book with the Bible. I have found my entire household is more peaceful when I apply what she says. She makes it clear that you are in charge and you determine who is in control. She states that sometimes it is better to let the little things go, such a wet towel left on the bathroom floor, than to create a huge agreement with your spouse. Even if you are not having problems with your spouse you will find this book helpful. It has practical advice that can help strengthen your relationship.

This book is wonderful! Joyce is a very tell-it-like-it-is person, yet has a wonderful sense of humor. Her writing style keeps you interested while you are learning how to live (and have a good marriage) according to God's Word. If you are serious about applying God's Word to your marriage (which isn't easy for everyone), then this is the book for you!! I'm already seeing wonderful results in my own marriage! (And, by the way...being a submissive wife doesn't mean being your husband's slave... ;o) )

This book is awesome! It is practical with scripture to back everything Joyce says. I cried and laughed while reading this book. I started using the principals and suggestions and I saw a change in my marriage within DAYS! Thanks God for Joyce!

I have read alot of Christian self-help books, but this is by far the best one of it's kind on the market today. Guided by the Holy Spirit, Joyce Meyer uses the Word of God to explain His great plan for all marriages. She has experienced and overcome some of the pitfalls that many marriages face today. A "must read"!

This book is amazing! Joyce has encountered many of the common pitfalls of marriage, many of which cause people to divorce. She doesn't leave any rocks un-turned and admits her weaknesses and how she overcame them. Good advice for any Christian marriage.

Joyce has never been more personal or candid than in this book. She literally opens up her marriage to the reader, and by so doing brings encouragement and instruction. Some sections of the book are especially touching and may move you to tears. The book reads like a biography-cum-how-to book. It is not only great for married couples but also for those who are single. I'm single and when I read this I felt it brought much understanding on why my previous relationship did not work out. There's no hype in this book just practical, loving straight-talk. Overall, a powerful book that will change your marriage and your personal joy if you allow it to enter your life. Pray as you read it and God will use it to impact you for sure.

I am not married and this book has helped me a lot. When I bought this book my sister was going through a rough separation. Her husband left her for another woman. It seemed like everytime I picked this book up it had the answers she needed. I have learned a lot from this book. What a wonderful way to know that you are making the right decision about marriage. The title should be Help Me I am Thinking about getting Married!

I absolutely loved this book. There is a lot of humor in it. Especially when I can relate to a lot of the situations Jocye and Dave have had. This book can help your marriage by applying the Word of God to it. I would reccoment this book to anyone who would like a great laugh along with some wonderful scripture.

Best book I've ever bought!!!! I've been married for 5 years now and I can honestly say that this book is awesome. Obviously, not all applies to you but, you take the "good" and leave the "bad". We need to understand that God deals with each person differently, it's not "one size fits all". I believe Joyce Meyer's intentions in writing this book were good and not just a waste of time or horrifying. This helped her marriage, it might help someone else's. Just like our life experiences can help some and not others.

Great book. Nice to know she has/ had problems like us all Nice of her to share her problems to help people. I liked the book so much that I bought 2 copies to give as a gift to help my 2 friends . I really believe it will help them when they want to date and get re married . I think anyone getting married should read this book before they say Ido .
