After reading this highly informative book, I realize that my dog does not have an attitude as I first suspected. I just had to learn how to understand her better. This book is great for anyone who is even thinking about getting a dog or a puppy. After reading it, they will know for sure whether or not a dog or puppy is the correct pet for them. If you are having problems with your pet, this book gives step by step instructions to help you in almost any situation. If you love your dog, you should read this book!!!

This is a wonderful book to have if you need pointers with training your puppy. It's easy to read and you can pretty much understand the steps or advice she has to offer. We have tried a few things with our Lab and it's been working well. You almost have to laugh about it because it's as if Gwen Bohnenkamp knows exactly what your puppy is doing...without ever meeting our puppy.

we have a new pound pooch.....Quigley.....about 10 months old.....we were at the point of either giving him up or taking him out....in desperation I bought this book...we have been using these methods for almost 12 days....you cannot believe what has happened.....we have our dog...he has turned completely around and is a model.....praise not pain......I recommend this for anyone with a problem dog....

I really enjoyed reading this book and it helped me to understand what I was doing wrong with my dog. It helps to put you in the dog's world, and a lot of the training techniques really worked. It also gave steps on how to properly train your dog. The only thing I did not like was that some of the training she wanted you to do would take a substantial amount of time. Also a lot of the advice she gave was largely dealing with puppies, and my dog is already an adult. So its best if you read this before you get a puppy but it can still help even if your dog is already grown.

this book was worth spending to buy. great advise. not just training for our family dog, but for the family as well. thank you again

It is a great little book with some gems of wisdom in understanding why a challenging dog behaves the way it does.

After being bitten by our golden retriever puppy, desperation drove me to seek help. I'm not quite sure why I chose HELP! MY DOG HAS AN ATTITUDE, but I'm glad I did. The author talks in a no-nonsense, it's not your dog it's you attitude, which can, a first set some fear in you. Read on and it tells you the owner how to get the trust and respect of your dog. It's changed our time with Teddy and my children's approach to him. I will keep it in the kitchen and refer to it no doubt, again and again.

I thought the book would be for ideas on puppies , how to make them behave, i was disappointed with it.
