Teri Reisser, M.S., M.F.T., is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in southern California. She has co-authored several books, including "Your Spouse Isn't the Person You Married" (2010) and "A Solitary Sorrow" (2000), a book on healing after abortion. She developed and teaches a post-abortion recovery training seminar nationwide for which she was the recipient of the prestigious Los Angeles Commission on Women's "Women Helping Women" award in 1989. Ms. Reisser is lives with her husband/co-author/best friend/lover, Paul, a family physician, in Thousand Oaks, California. They have two grown children and are "Papa and Grammy" to two grandchildren who are indisputably the dessert of their lives. Teri is an avid Sci-Fi reader and believes Amazon.com should build a wing and name it after her for all the books she has purchased from them over the years.
