Help Wanted is the short story that launches this author's Fantasy Heights series, and as such I thought it was very well done. Amanda is a jilted bride, newly unemployed and looking to escape the sudden mess and humiliation that her life has become. When she happens upon a postcard advertising for help at a fantasy sex club, she jumps at the chance to 'become someone else' for a while. And what unfolds in this sizzling hot short is her trial period with the people (both guests and co-workers) at Fantasy Heights.

This was extremely well written, with only a very few typos (I think I saw two, but then got so sucked up into the story that either there weren't any more or I just didn't see them). I liked the characters, particularly Thomas (what is it about strong, sexually confident and maybe even just a little bit dominant men?). I will definitely be looking for the rest in the series. I would recommend this book to anyone who's ever done a little roleplaying in the bedroom or who's looking for a sensual, sizzling hot read. This book's got you covered!

Oh, an erotica short story that proves that even smut can be well written! I felt that both characters and setting were well-developed in this beginning tale. Silver approaches her sex scenes from an almost clinical and scientific standpoint, which I found refreshing and actually made things hotter for me. Her details were tight and precise, no melodramatic descriptive language. Fantasy Heights Spa began to slowly grow in my mind as a fully realized place where anything--well, at least anything Meg Silver wants to write--is possible. I'm definitely interested in seeing where this series goes next!

I picked this up on a whim and I'm a huge fan already! This story was extremely well-written. I instantly fell in love with the main character, wondering how her storyline would work itself out. The other characters are deeply intruiging and I cannot wait for more. I have eagerly started downloading the series. If you love erotica but want an actual story to go with it, follow along!

This was a great read! I would definitely recommend this "quickie" if you're looking for a starter....something to get the engine running....or simply fondling your imagination! Help Wanted had great detail and attention to specifics.

The gist: Girl gets jilted by fiancé who suddenly takes interest in her stepsister. This causes girl to run away in anger and shame. Girl finds ad in store with no specific detail but the picture of a naked, female silhouette. Fantasy Heightsnis the Disneyland for grown-ups looking to act out their wildest desires. There's a show, there's a show that will have you either wishing you were present or a part of it...great oral references and some BDSM for those of you who like it a little rough. This book did not disappoint...

I really enjoyed this book. I picked this up as a freebie and immediately got deeply involved in the Fantasy Heights world. Amanda as the jilted bride coming into her own sexual prowess made for wonderful reading. The sex was steamy and I was so wrapped up in the story and all the characters, I could not get my hands on the next book quick enough upon finishing the introduction.

The writing was great and I noticed very few typos. I can't wait to keep reading all about Fantasy Heights and Amanda's adventures there. I think she will become quite an asset! Overall, the sex is hot, the characters have depth, and the story is well written. Enjoy!

I thought this was a great opening. There were several well written scenes and I like the way the author's mind works these out. Wish they were a bit longer, but I imagine that will come further in the story as this part of the story is like a 'trial' run for the main character.

All in all I thought it was good and will be looking into some of the others in the series.

Thank God, a well written work of erotica. That seems to be something hard to find in this day of electronic publishing. First the good. From a strictly technical point of view, Meg Silver weaves a compelling story and the sex is quite good. All-in-all, she is a very talented writer and I look forward to reading some of her other work. That said, I did find that perhaps Ms. Silver has spent a bit too much time in one of those erotic stories writers groups. I know these groups quite well having myself been a member of one or two in my day. The Fantasy Heights concept - like other concepts that spring from such groups - is overly trite and completely unbelievable. While I fully realize that sometimes the author of erotic fiction must reach in order to create a situation where unbridled sexual activity can take place without making it seem beyond belief, but this stretches the bounds. The plotting is mechanical and formulaic and I was left with this odd sensation in which I believe Ms. Silver has it in her to break through with a really terrific work of erotic fiction; unfortunately, this isn't it.

Really enjoyed this story but be warned it does suck you in and you end up getting the others in the series. It is very sexy but has a good storyline which only gets better in later books - I'm now desperate for book 7!!!
