I just wanted to say, how awesome this little reference book is, with its Counselor's Quick Check List, Some Don'ts in Counseling, the Fifty Failure Factors, Remarks and Responses, Why People Come for Counseling and Data Gathering, just to mention a few. For a mini book, it sure is packed full of helpful guidance, as well as a quick review of some scripture references, to help prepare me before my counseling sessions and aid me in the direction in which to move during the sessions. I plan to take this mini-manual with me every time I step out the door, so that I can always be equipped on the spot to give an answer to those that are weary and or searching for the biblical way to handle an issue or conflict.

This tiny book is a must have for anyone doing Biblical counseling. Very useful and totally portable to keep in pocket or purse. It was originally included as part of the Christian Counselor's New Testament as a handy reference guide before, after and during counseling sessions. It presupposes a knowledge of the form of Biblical Counseling set forth by Jay Adams in Competent to Counsel, The Christian Counselor's Manua, etc.
