Amazon Verified Purchase
This light controller works perfectly for me. I attached this to my outdoor porch fixture to control a GE 62180 9-Watt LED Soft White A19 Light Bulb. My first experience with an LED replacement bulb, but not with the controller. I had one previously, and it worked flawlessly for years. The key is the internal bi-metal switch which provides a positive on/off for the load, thus allowing control of LED's and CFL's.

Works well but is very fragile. I broke one installing on an electrical box. Unit still works but head is wobbly.
I bought on of these in November 2009. It worked fine until February 2012, then it started staying on longer and longer until it was stuck on. OK, that was a product failure.
I called customer service at Westek. They asked me to return the defective unit for replacement under their 5 year warranty. I stated that it would be difficult due to its mounted location and the fact that it would be an open circuit for the period of adjustment (not to mention $5 to return a $10 item is marginally stupid). The customer service rep said OK they would send out an new one... one week... two weeks, nothing. So I called back and got a nasty service engineer that refused to do anything.
So if you buy this product, do so with the expectation of limited product life and virtually no warranty. I purchased a different brand from another big box store to replace it.

Good but Delicate

Great For Compact Fluorescent Bulbs

Worked Great!

Dusk to Dawn Switch
