This is a good, sturdy cushion. So far it is holding up well being used at home and in the car. I had previously purchased a cheaper cushion at the local drug store that lasted only a short time before springing a leak. I was looking for a cushion that was a little larger and stronger. Though you will need an air compressor or pump to inflate, it is well worth the extra money to buy this one than the cheap little vinyl ones. The air can be adjusted for comfort as I found that when fully inflated the cushions just aren't easy to sit on.

This product is not what we thought it would be and was no help in the convalescence for my spouse. It comes with no instructions on how to inflate or what tool is needed to inflate. It provided no relief or comfort to my spouse for her "tailbone" from having to sit in a recliner for many hours. If you had some other reason for using this rubber pillow it may be helpful but to patients needing relief from sitting in one position to long it misses the mark. The price is far too high for such a small easy to produce product.

This is my fourth cushion I've tried for tailbone pain and this is the one that worked for me. I'm 6'3" and around 270lbs, so most cushions will sink down and not provide any relief. I find the "cutout" style cushions difficult to seat properly on and they don't fit into my chair properly.

This is essentially a very small inflatable tire with industrial-strength rubber and a brass stem. It's held up under my weight for more than week now with no sign of deflation. There is a faint rubber smell, but I find putting it in a pillow case helps to alleviate that a bit.

Because of this cushion I've started to heal from my tailbone pain when sitting did nothing but aggravate it previously.

Don't buy this donut pillow. It blew a hole in it after just 1 1/2 months of use. I only weigh 159 lbs. Cheap construction. Buy a different brand.

I bought it for my brother who was bed ridden. He developed a bed sore on his tail bone. He said the pillow was great when it had air in it but when it deflated, which was often, he then had to find some one to blow it up.

Bought this exact thing at CVS, and it is a waste of money. Oh, I have happily used OTHER inflatable doughnut cushions, but THIS thing leaks like a sieve. I have to re-inflate it every hour! EVEN WHEN NOT BEING USED it goes flat while sitting on the chair overnight. So, if your goal is to improve lung strength, this is the toy for you, but if you are tying to alleviate a pain in the butt... don't buy this pain-in-the-butt!!
