I ordered these napkins to coordinate with the green and purple colors on china I inherited from my great-grandmother, since I didn't want to worry about stains on white napkins. The color is a very nice deep olive green, and they washed up well. While ironing them after washing, I found that not all of them are perfectly square - this might make folding them in fancy patterns a bit tricky, but they have a nice feel to the fabric and seem well-constructed otherwise.
