5.0 out of 5 stars Garlic Lover's Dream Come True
No matter how hard your garlic is, the Henckels Euro Garlic Press will get the job done. If you use garlic in most meals then this is the garlic press for you. In fact, I feel so strongly about this garlic press that I have bought one for everyone I know. It is well worth the money! Enjoy!

3.0 out of 5 stars Better models on the market
I have had this model for about a year and a half now and say that, while it gets the job done satisfactorily, I wouldn't recommend this model. Garlic squishes out the sides when it is used, doesn't work well with unpeeled cloves, and having the removeable attachment is more of a pain in the rear than a useful detail. It is not particularly easy to clean as well. I...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very sturdy, November 18, 2003
This review is from: Henckels Euro Garlic Press (Kitchen)
This one fell apart after 3 uses. It can not be that I used to much pressure, my hand is weak and damaged, so I htink it was the design. Everyone else seems happy with theirs, so maybe I got a lemon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta have my (Henckels) garlic (press)., September 22, 2003

This a wonderful manual tool to have in your kitchen. This garlic press is solidly made, well-balanced, and feels good in the hand due to a clean, functional design. It is true that some garlic pieces will ooze out the sides, but this usually happens if the grid compartment is overloaded. I so enjoy this tool because the removable grid slips out fast and is easy to wash. Immediately after using I give it a rinse under running water to remove the small garlic particles. This is a tool I have come to depend on almost daily. Last week in the rush to evacuate from hurricane Isabel I forgot to pack this favorite kitchen tool and now I am about to order another one to use in my out-of-state sanctuary.

5.0 out of 5 stars over 20 years and still going strong, April 28, 2008
This review is from: Henckels Euro Garlic Press (Kitchen)
I bought this garlic press in the mid-eightees and it's still going strong. I use it at least a dozen times a month, as minced garlic and ginger are staples of many oriental dishes that I prepare. To this day, it still looks great and is easy to clean. It is the only garlic press I've ever seen that has 2 different sized dies, which I've found can be very helpful at times. You can notice the Henckels quality, as the handles are full tang (the metal extends down the length of the handle. I don't know if Henckels has stopped manucaturing it, but I've recommended it to several friends and it has been difficult for them to locate.

Bottom line: Any gadget that performs the same as it did a quarter century ago with zero maintenance is the defacto standard.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Garlic Press out there, November 18, 2004
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Henckels Euro Garlic Press (Kitchen)
This is by far the best garlic press. It is sturdy and very easy to clean. I have tried many other brands and they can't compare to the superior job that the Wusthof does! I have bought them for many friends and relatives and they agree,it's a winner!
