Everything about this set is first class, from the wood box it comes in to the beautiful finish to the excellent cutting edge.

I was looking to get a quality set of steak knives at a reasonable price. These knives are sharp, balanced and easy to use, obviously well made. My family is delighted with them.

The wood presentation box is a nice touch.

All in all, a very good value.

The knives are very nice looking and fit well with our flatware pattern and feel nice in your hand. The knives don't cut especially smoothly--tears the meat somewhat but gets the job done. The serrations seem larger and further apart than other steak knives I've used so maybe that's the difference? Overall I'm very pleased with them and may purchase another set for when we have larger parties.

I purchased these for my son as a gift. He was thrilled! My husband, who is a bit of a culinary snob, was also very impressed. As far as he is concerned, the name Henckels means quality. There is substance to the knife without being overbearing for women with small hands. The gift box made the the knives even more outstanding. The gift arrived before the promised date in tip top condition.

These knives are sharp. One of the reasons i bought them was that they are entirely in stainless steel, a single piece, so they could match my other flatware on the table and are also easy to clean. I've been cleaning them in the dishwasher and it's been ok. The logo on the blade is big so they do not look that nice on the table if your flatware style is clean and elegant and you're having a fancy dinner. But as the focus must be the food anyway, the logo might go unnoticed. For those who like heavy knives, it's not a good choice. But they do cut very well anyway, which is the most important.

I like nice things and am a bit of a snob. That being said, these knives are not "top of the line" Henckels. But they don't cost the same either. More importantly, they are not the cheap Henckels line. They cut well, rather than tearing. They look nice and go with stainless flatwear. The one consistent comment made by others I find interesting is how well they survive the dishwasher. These knives are not supposed to go in the dishwasher. They are to be hand washed. The instructions so state. There is no way to sharpen them because they are serrated. So a dishwasher will dull them without recourse. But no good knives are supposed to be put in a dishwasher. This is a nice set and I am pleased I bought them.

Call me lazy but I have discovered that this steak knife set makes a wonderful wedding gift and have bought 4 of them in the past six months. You can't beat the combination of quality and beauty when giving this set as a gift ! The price is right and I get rave reviews for my choice on every thank you card.

As stated in the title... I LOVE THESE KNIVES!!!
They look quite classy, fit nicely into a man OR woman's hand, cut beautifully, and even come out of the dishwasher in great shape. I try to hand wash them, but when laziness strikes and they get thrown into the washer, they come out nicely cleaned and spot-free. Would certainly recommend this product, may even buy more at some point!!

These knives are a wonderful touch to setting an elegant place at the table. No rough looking giant steak knives here. These knives cut through steaks of various size and texture with ease. Even used in a casual setting these knives fit in. Very tasteful as well as useful.

I have used the knives for over ten years. Actually, I use them everday since they go so well with my stainless flatware. They are still are as pristine as they were when I bought them, The box is nice but I don't use it. Rather, I just put them in my flateware drawer and they do fine. I am buying a set as a gift for my daughter that is getting married soon.
