No, these aren't the most awesome scissors you'll ever use. The embroidery scissors I'd purchased at a high-end sewing store are much smoother than the ones here, and feel much more solid under my fingers. On the other hand, that single set of embroidery scissors cost as much as this entire package of five!

The price is very good for this set, which includes the scissors most households will use most often, under most circumstances. It's a good value with decent quality.

This is a set of five (5) scissors. They are sharp and cut cleanly. My favorite is the flower cutter which has a spring and a latch. All the rest of them are perfect for their design. Poultry is only one use. The bent shears are perfect for opening Amazon cartons. The other type is perfect for cutting burrs off a dog's paws. In my life, I've never had access to quality scissors. Amazon is charging a more than fair price for the set. You will never again get a bargain like this.

I had problems finding a pair of scissors when I was near the kitchen because every set got dull and rusty in no time at all. So I bought this set and am very delighted to see scissors that I can use no matter what room of the house I'm in.

The quality stainless steel construction will keep them from rusting and the kichen shears are so versatile that they do an awesome job of clipping coupons or cutting through the joints of a chicken and still ready to clip more coupons and gristle. It's taken me years to find a pair of scissors to do that!

Besides that, there are flower cutting shears, embroidery scissors and several other useful scissors in this quaility set. If you ever find yourself looking for a sharp set of scissors, do yourself a favor and buy this set! You'll be very glad you did!!

Beware, these scissors are low quality, not what you would expect from Henckels. They are manufactured in Korea and China with cheap, uncomfortable plastic handles. I own a genuine pair of Henckels kitchen shears which I purchased at Macy's about 20 years ago. They are still in great condition and work perfectly. This is the type of quality that I was hoping for when I purchased this 5-piece set. Unfortunately, what I got was a set of cheap imitations. I returned my order. Don't make the same mistake that I made.

I bought a set of these mainly for my husband, who is my chief kitchen assistant. These scissors are great! We use the largest pair for trimming fat from meat and poultry--and they are so much better than a knife. I liked them so much, I got another set for a dear neighbor as a Christmas gift. She will love them, as I do. Wonderful product!!

I added this Henkels International 5 piece Scissors when I purchased Henkels Pro-S 8inch High Carbon Chef's knife. The price for this 5 piece package was great considering the name value of Henkels. However, the quality of product was not even close to the same scissor I purchased 8 years ago, and surprisingly, within 2 weeks they are getting rusty on hinges.
Well --- what you are paying for is what you are going to get.

I have a good set of Henckels knives, these have absolutely nothing to do with them. They are cheap, the kitchen shears don't come apart (which of course they should for complete cleaning) the "anvil" flower trimmers, what a joke. The "anvil" is cheap plastic instead of brass, the catch sticky, the handles cheap plastic. I have bought equal scissors in the drug store for $3.99 each.

Why they have the Henckels brand on these is beyond me. They'll most likely go back. I don't have junk in my kitchen. I'll not start with these.

I bought this set of scissors about 6 years ago and they work just as perfectly now as the day I bought them! I reach for them CONSTANTLY! The variety of sizes is wonderful. Yes, the handles may be plastic but that does not mean they wear out or break - they are very durable. They've stayed sharp, they are easy to clean, they have not loosened at all where the joint is located and the larger scissors are very sturdy and strong! I've cut small wire with them and they stay super sharp and undented! Awesome gift! In fact I'm going to purchase another set for a Christmas gift.

this scissor set is not as sturdy as i was expecting from a henckels product. the all purpose scissors work well but the pruning shears are very light weight and the open /close mechanism is very cheap. i dont htink they will last too long. probably why they were less expnsive for same set in other mags.

Yes, I admit that I am very picky about scissors. Over the years, we have bought quite a few scissors, from the expensive ones to those you can buy from 99cent stores.
This set of scissors is by far the best investment we have ever made. They are ALL sharp and precise.
The flower cutter has plastic handle but it does the job well.
For 29.99, you can't go wrong with it!
