A crusty loaf yields easily to this knife, whose serrations are big enough to rate--in knife-speak--as "scallops." Henckels' International Classic is a moderately priced cutlery line made in countries other than the company's home of Germany. The steel is of lesser quality than that used in its premier lines. I love Henckels knives! This is an excellent bread knife, cuts beautifully even on thin slicing. Well worth the price in comparison to the lesser expensive ones. Nice weight!

Great knife, I'm using it for my restaurant. Worth the money, I actually saw it at a Macys' for $30 more and on sale. This is a great deal, and service/delivery as promised. Best brand of knife on the market, especially for commercial use.
