We use this for every ham, roast and turkey. It is perfect.

Just one note: The photo is in error. We bought ours at Amazon and everything about it is just right, but the carving fork is the Henckels forged block cut rather than the oval tine shown in the photo.

Of course, you WANT the square block cut fork because it secures well-cooked meats better, whereas the oval tine somewhat tears meat, making a mess of the job.

I did not learn this until receiving this set. I already had the oval tine fork, and thought the square tine was a mistake -- until I used it. Then I said, "Aha! Oval if for amateurs and square block cut tines are for those in the know!"

Live and Learn.

I received the Twin Pro-S carving set a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. It made carving the turkey easy. Plus, a couple of days later we made a roast and the fork and knife worked great in carving that piece of meat. The only thing that prevented me from giving 5-stars was that the inside lining of the box was loose. I need to reglue it. I now have a nice set of J.A. Henckels Twin Pro-S knives and I wouldn't trade them for any other knives.

I've been looking to buy this set for my husband for a while now. I feel it was a good value, I shopped around a lot. Would recommend.
