I first got the carving knife, and it just didn't feel right using a standard kitchen fork with it. This looks good and is very functional for the roasts, whole chickens it is meant for. Great control and weight.

I bought this meat fork with the carving knife. Great design especially the handle for easy to grip. However it is a bit heavy for me so it gives me an excuse to ask my husband to do the carving job. =)
p.s. you get more metal from J.A. Henckels and that's why it is a bit heavy then the others.
