I purchased these knives as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. We've been using them for 9 months now and they are still just as sharp as when they were first opened. The knives have a nice sturdy feel to them and a comfortable grip. In addition to being excellent knives, you also get a lovely cutting board and meat fork for a fairly low price for this quality of knife.

One caveat: They say dishwasher safe, but if you buy nice knives you don't want to warp them in the heat of your dishwasher... so make the investment and wash them by hand.

Got this set a few weeks ago and am very happy with the value. The knives are not the high end forged blades, but are fairly thick and sturdy stamped blades. They match the look of our "Professional S" set of carving knives very well.
