I found this pouch in a local sausage/cafe/bakery and I have to say it is so delicious! It tastes like red cabbage with a bit of cider vinegar and a little sugar. It really is an amazing flavor. The directions are all in German but there are enough pictures to understand what to do. I found jars of this stuff in English in my local Big Lots(for $2.50), I picked up one and am going to try it out and write a review of it. I've never been to Germany but there is a local restaurant that has some pretty fantastic tasting German food, and red cabbage is always my favorite! The Hengstenberg brand really comes very close to the restaurant's red cabbage, it's almost as good! I ate the entire bowl that this pouch made in just a few minutes it's that yummy!
