I hate math, and this book is holding my hand and walking me through this class. It's wonderful- Thank you Susan Buchholz!!

This book is helping me a lot in my fundamental class. Infact When I was studying chapter 3 of this book which is on conversion,it flushed out my fears I had in having difficulty in conversion and fill my spirit with confidence that I will be the mistress on my calculation. Infact this book is made for everyone, both novies and mathematicians. It gives novies confidence that there is nothing to fear in mathematics. It shows you how to use your application.
I believed that all nursing student need to have a copy of this book. It worth the price.

While the book is indeed amazing, it is only a small shadow of the person. I am a current student of Sue Buchholz and would recommend this book to anyone who wanted a little extra help with dosage calculation, and I would recommend the teacher to anyone who had the chance to learn from her.

I am a former student of Mrs. Bucholz, so maybe I'm biased, but she was an incredible teacher who really cares for her students, and I think that is reflected in the book. I like the way things are explained simply and with lots of practice. Overall, I would recommend this book to any friend in another nursing school program.

Shouldn't they have edited the book better? I found numerous, yet small transposing errors throughout. I'm not even good in math and had to have someone else look at it to confirm I wasn't crazy. The layout is great and it's easy to go through for the mathematically challenged. Just be aware, if something isn't seeming right, and you've worked out the problem numerous times, it's the book, not you.

I purchased this book to help me with my pharmacology class. I was able to learn how to calculate medication doses and this book really made it easy and gave lots of exercise problems to help instill the formulas. I did not rate this book a 5 because the first few chapters were of basic math skills which seemed really basic but for someone who is struggling this would be a great book to start a foundation on if you are going into the medical field

This book is a great resource on my accelerated BSN class! Highly recommended as a math refresher/learning medication administration math.

My book came in perfect condition with cd and all. I am extremely happy and it took only two days to get here. I do all my purchasing through amazon...with amazon prime! LOVE IT!
