I just received this guide and discovered that it is a set of "weekly lessons", which are merely a breakdown of what to do from the Henle text in the form of a checklist. For example, read this, memorize that, study this, make a flashcard etc... The only redeeming value is that it contains answers to the exercises in the Henle text. The lack of an available discription of this guide as well as the inability to view a page of actual content is misleading. I expected a guide to contain its own instructional content: a breakdown of the lessons or exercises, additional exercises and/or practice or expanded explanations. I would not call this pamphlet a guide, but a lesson plan with exercise key (units I and II). If you are looking for someone to tell you what to do and when, then it may be useful to you, but if you are wanting additional instruction or clarification to expand your studies of Henle, save yourself the money. Mine was wasted.

This is a great counterpart/addition to Henle 1. You need Henle 1 First Year and Grammar along with this guide, which contains the answers as well (no need to buy an extra answer key). Bite-size, doable, daily activities for your Latin-loving child.
