A must have item for students of professional cars, particularly Packard aficionados. Also,the section devoted to the crafting of Packard concept cars is most welcome.

This volume has earned an honored place on my book shelves and represents excellent value for the automotive literature collector.

At last an in-depth history of one of the professional car industries most illustrious names. A magnificent collection of outstanding and rare images and detailed information on the company, it products and its people. It was interesting to learn that Henney produced hearses and ambulances on Lincoln, Velie, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Pierce-Arrow chassis as well as Packard. And, the fascinating material and photos on the Packard show cars and the White House Lincoln limousines I have never seen elsewhere. As usual, McPherson, the guru of professional car history, has given us yet another excellent book. If you're into professional cars, Packards or coachbuilders, this book is a must have.

This is a very informative book on the Henney Motor Company. As a member of the PCS, I found the photos and text very interesting. Henney-Packard Hearses and
other professional vehicles by Henney were execellent eamples of the vehicles that were available th funeral homes in the great past years of the funeral profession.
Today, we have Cadillacs (for how much longer) and Lincolns. Yes, things change but not for the better. Another great book by Iconografix and Thomas A. McPherson.
