Level 2 readers are for kids reading independently and Henry And Mudge And The Big Sleepover provides another Henry and Mudge story with fine short chapters, varied sentence structure, and adventure. Here Henry is invited to a sleepover party and nighttime adventures seem to assure nobody will get to sleep, especially when a father decides to participate. Sucie Stevenson's drawings are fun embellishments.

We have about 9 of these books. Each is a unique story, there is no formula here. They are creative stories that deal with real life situations in a special Henry and Mudge fashion. They are warm and loving and fun. Henry loves his big dog Mudge. I am going to buy more of them.

Mudge books are the best for the under 8 year old group. I have read over 30 of these to my grandkids and NEVER been disappointed with the story line, the humor or the artwork - all top notch, educational and age appropriate. High recommend Mudge to everyone - even adults enjoy reading Mudge to children.

My daughter loves all of the Henry & Mudge books, and this is no exception.

In the book Henry's friend Patrick called and invited to a sleepover.
My favorite part was the popcorn fight,because I love popcorn and it was funny.
My favorite character is Mudge because he reminds me of my dog. I recommend this
book to any person who enjoys reading funny stories because Henry and Mudge is
a funny . I give this book **** stars.

Nothing special. My 7 year old read it with no problem. She enjoys it and reads it regularly.
