This is a great soundtrack for a fantastic and sadly underrated film.

Most of the tracks are standalone strong tracks, and together they are like a symphony, each melting perfectly to the next.

My personal favorite tracks are Believe by The Bravery and Promises by Badly Drawn Boy(which has become one of my new favorite songs, thanks to Henry Poole is Here).

If you enjoy the movie, the soundtrack is just as good!

I watched the movie "Henry Poole is Here" and thought it was intriguing and interesting, but what really caught my attention was the music. I had to "shazam" the Eels song with my iPhone to find out what it was, and then I ended up purchasing the entire soundtrack! (which practically never happens; I usually like one song and that's it).

This is a rare compilation in that I can listen to the entire thing, over and over (as opposed to listening to one song and then shuffling to the next thing).

The songs are heartfelt, touching, evocative, moving. Highly recommended.

I watched this movie, then immediately went to download the soundtrack. Both the movie and the soundtrack are great. However, the song "Morning Yearning" was recorded by John Linton on the soundtrack, but was a Ben Harper version on the movie. I was a little disappointed, since I fell in love with the soundtrack because of this one song. Other than that, I would recommend it.

Eels, if you don't know them... you're missing out, they have a cut on this CD! The sound track was in your
face while watching the movie. It's just a collection of great stuff, click yourself up one! If it doesn't work for you, put yourself in the shop, there's something wrong with you!
